On May 28, Xiaomi officially announced its two new mid- and high-end smartphones, the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro. The two smartphones had the advantage of offering an identical design, without borders or notches, but with a retractable camera for selfies. Only the characteristics distinguished the two cameras, with a Snapdragon 855 and an IMX586 photo sensor for the Redmi K20 Pro, and a Snapdragon 730 and an IMX582 sensor for the Redmi K20.
However, these two smartphones had not yet left China. This should be the case as of June 12. Indeed, Xiaomi France sent us an invitation to present a new smartphone with the legend "Is T ready". A "T" that reminds us of the Xiaomi Mi 9T rumours that emerged last week.
Indeed, it seems that the Redmi K20 and its Pro version are marketed in Europe not under the Redmi range, but directly under the Xiaomi brand. They would then take the names Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro respectively.
The launch will take place in Paris on Wednesday, June 12, starting at 2pm. You will of course find the coverage of the event on FrAndroid.
