We all know that when a brand thinks about launching a new phone in stores, it immediately starts to lower the price of its most direct predecessors. It is the case of the Pocophone F2 that could reach the market in the coming weeks and, in order to eliminate the stock of the first model, Xiaomi has given the order to lower the price of the Pocophone F1, starting with India.
In the eastern country the smartphone was put on sale with a price of Rs 20,999 and a little later in December, the company made a first price cut of Rs 1,000, leaving it at Rs 19,999. Now it seems that the smartphone has witnessed a new fall in prices in the country. It is to be hoped that this reduction in the price of the Pocophone F1 will be reflected in other countries, including Spain, although what matters to us about this strategy is to confirm that the Pocophone F2 is about to be introduced.
The company has announced a price drop of 2,000 Rs in the Pocophone F1 with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. After the reduction in the price of the Pocophone F1, the smartphone can be bought temporarily for 17,999 RS, which in exchange results in a very attractive 230 euros, 100 euros less than the price that the same mobile presents in our country (329 euros).
As for the Pocophone F2, we know that it is still a top of the range manufactured by Redmi and since the Redmi 20 will reach our cloths in the form of Xiaomi Mi 9T, hopefully the Redmi K20 Pro will change its name and be marketed within our borders as the successor of this excellent Pocophone F1 that lowers price in India. For the moment we will have to wait to confirm these intuitions.
In terms of release date, as the Pocophone F1 was released in August 2018, so wo predict that the Pocophone F2 will be most likely released in July or August 2019. We look forward to the offical news about the specific reelase date of the much anticipated Pocophone F2.
