The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is one of our favorites of the beginning of the year. It must be said that for 200 euros, this smartphone aligns the qualities with its Snapdragon 660 chip, its Type-C USB port and its long battery life.
However, this smartphone is not perfect, and in our test, we criticized it for not being compatible with NFC, and the 4G LTE 700 MHz frequency.
This frequency band is mainly used in France by the operator Free Mobile, but also a little bit by Bouygues Telecom. To have a phone that is fully compatible with 4G, and even 700 MHz, and therefore the assurance of receiving in the best conditions regardless of the operator.
Good thing, Xiaomi France is launching a 700 MHz compatible version exclusively for the Free Mobile store. According to the data sheet on the operator's website, no other features have changed compared to the classic version of the smartphone sold in France.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Edition 700 is therefore compatible with the 700 MHz frequency, and the 4G Category 6 at 300 Mb/s. It is sold for 199 euros on the Free Mobile store, the same price as the classic version. However, it should be noted that this is the 32GB version with 3GB of RAM. The 64GB version with 4GB RAM is not available.
