In contrast to the Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi's Note 7S model has a main camera (f/1.8) on the back, which is equipped with a 48 MP image sensor from Samsung. A 5MP depth sensor handles AI gimmicks like bokeh effects. In addition, the Redmi Note 7S main camera supports PDAF, EIS in video mode and an AI controlled portrait mode.
At the front, there is a 13-MP self-refer camera that looks through a waterdrop notch of the 6.3-inch IPS display (2,340 x 1,080 pixels). The Redmi Note 7S also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor on board. The Note 7S is available with 3/32 GB or 4/64 GB RAM/ROM depending on the model. Xiaomi only comes with a 10-watt charger, but the 4,000 mAh battery supports fast charging with up to 18 watts. The operating system is Android 9 Pie, which is adapted to the user-defined MIUI 10 UI.
