The new MTi600 inertial motion sensor series, featuring a IP51-class shell of 31.5mm x 28.0mm x 13.0mm, can handle tumbling and pitching angles up to ±0.2 degree. With the help of GNSS, the accuracy of heading measurement can reach ±1.0 degree. CAN bus and GNSS receiver compatible with NMEA data format have also been added to this series.
Xsens has successfully demonstrated the superior performance of the new module series at booth 2627 at the XPONENTIAL International Unmanned and Unmanned Systems Show in Chicago, USA (April 30 to May 2, 2019).
The excellent performance of the new module is due to Xsens's innovative ideas for the fusion algorithm to optimize the performance of the new accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer components. As a result, the performance-optimized MTi600 Series can be launched at a unit price of less than 300 euros, allowing the MTI 610Inertial Measurement Unit to be put into mass production.

The MTi600 Series includes four levels of integration:
1.MTi-610 IMU provides fully calibrated sensor data output.
2.MTi-620 VRU can handle roll and pitch angles with accuracy up to ±0.2 degree.
3.MTi-630 AHRS can handle roll and pitch angles with accuracy up to ±0.2 degree, and heading measurement accuracy up to ±1.5 degree.
4.MTi-670 GNSS/INS compatible with GNSS receiver, roll and pitch angle accuracy up to ±0.2 degree, heading measurement accuracy up to ±1.0 degree, and global positioning data provided by external GNSS receiver.
