On registration at TENAA the model A2020 Pro was detailed almost completely, revealing that the smartphone will arrive with triple rear camera, a battery of 3900 mAh, screen of 6.47 inches with OLED technology besides being equipped with the new Snapdragon 855 and up to 12GB RAM.
In the images captured for registration, we see that the smartphone follows the standard already revealed by ZTE, but there is no "5G" seal on the back cover next to the Axon brand, indicating that this model A2020 Pro would be just the common variant of the smartphone or then that ZTE would leave aside the inscription indicating the 5G, which is very difficult.
ZTE is expected to present the Axon 10 Pro with 5G coming to market with a price still due to the implementation costs of the 5G modem and customizations necessary so that users can take full advantage of the new generation of mobile networks. The Axon 10 Pro will be released in China in May and has no price forecast so far.
ZTE is a Chinese manufacturer that has some very interesting smartphones in its line, such as Axon M and the recently announced Axon 10 Pro 5G, made official during the Mobile World Congress 2019, which took place at the end of February in Barcelona, Spain .
About two months after its revelation, it appears on the website of a major Chinese retailer, JD.com, which is already accepting reservations for the brand's top-of-the-line model, which is also the first 5G device with Snapdragon 855.
With that, the supposed launch date of the device was revealed, indicating that sales can start as early as May 7, but without any information on the prices to be charged for it.
The Axon 10 Pro 5G will be available in three variants, one of 6GB / 128GB, another 8GB / 256GB and the most powerful is 12GB / 256GB. For now, the only available color is blue.
The smartphone market is heating up in early 2019. With major launches such as the long-awaited Galaxy S10 line and confirmation by Samsung itself and several other companies such as Live, Oppo, OnePlus, Xiaomi and LG in presenting smartphones with 5G capacity still this year, it is clear that competition will be gross in 2019.
Among the companies already confirmed to be working on 5G smartphones is ZTE, which was one of the highlights earlier this year when confirming the launch of Axon 10 Pro with Snapdragon 855 and 5G support during the Mobile World Congress. Now days after one of the biggest tech fairs of the year, a series of photos show more details of the smartphone.
As you can see in the gallery below, the smartphone really shows itself as a flagship by adopting a 3D cut front and back panel with curved sides, very few edges on the device, and a drop-shaped notch. In the back, the device is equipped with three rear cameras, being a sensor of 48 MP, another of 20 MP with ultra wide lens and another with 8 MP and telephoto lens.
The variant in question is in blue color and shows a back cover with gradient tone, coming from blue to purple. The entire design is very reminiscent of what Huawei is expected to adopt in the new P30 models.
The top line of the Chinese manufacturer for 2019 is equipped with one of the most powerful processors available on the market: the Snapdragon 855, and thanks to it and the new Snapdragon X50 modem that ZTE chose to adopt on its device the company allows its users already have support for the future 5G connectivity network, as the name of the smartphone itself already reveals.
During the launch event at MWC, the company unveiled partnerships with mobile operators China Telecom, Hutchinson Drei and Elisa to provide users with 5G support from the second half of this year.
