On September 20, 2018, GoPro announced its new cam action range, the GoPro 7. A year later, rumours about the next generation are already being heard and the first GoPro Hero 8 and GoPro Max renderings have already been released ahead of schedule.
This year, the announcement will take place a little later: the official presentation will take place on October 1, 2019. The live feed is already announced on YouTube and should start at 3pm French time.
The main novelty of the GoPro Hero 8 would be its ability to shoot in 4K at 120 frames per second, as well as the integration of an external microphone that will finally allow you to enjoy correct sound without having to add an accessory. We can imagine that other improvements have also been made, as every year, in other areas such as image quality, digital zoom quality and stabilization.
Alongside the GoPro Hero 8, the GoPro Hero Max should succeed the GoPro Fusion with the ability to shoot 360°. We don't know any more about this slightly less compact camera.
