HUAWEI Watch GT 2 may run Harmony OS

Huawei previously confirmed that it will hold a new aircraft launch in Munich, Germany, on September 19, and is expected to unveil the flagship HUAWEI Mate 30 series in the second half of the year, while the new smartwatch HUAWEI Watch GT 2 is expected to be launched at the same time. It is likely to be the first smartwatch device to use the Harmony OS operating system.

Huawei Watch GT 2 is internally codenamed as "Latona" and the specific model is LTN-B19. It is reported that the Watch GT 2 has been certified by inspection agencies.

Judging from the official promotional chart, the watch looks thinner than the Huawei watch GT, with a slightly increased display area and a narrowed dial frame. On the right side of the watch are two buttons, the power key and the function key. Apart from that, there seems to be no significant change in the design of the new Huawei watch GT 2.

Huawei Watch GT 2 is expected to have a built-in GPS and a 445mAh battery, while microphones and speakers will be integrated inside the new watch to ensure sound quality, although no information has been released as to whether the product supports LTE.

It is worth noting that Huawei Watch GT 2 will also have an optical heart rate sensor built in and will be able to monitor users' fitness plans and actual exercise results with different applications.
