In fact, everything points to the fact that during the Huawei Developers Conference event that will take place in early August, the company plans to announce EMUI 10, its version of the operating system based on Android 10Q.
When some terminals of the brand catalog are still waiting for the arrival of EMUI version 9.1, Huawei plans to continue advancing in the development of the platform through a new version of its software. According to Huawei Central, today it has been confirmed that the EMUI 10 presentation will take place during HDC 2019.
Apparently, this announcement will take place during the opening ceremony of the fair, on August 9th, and Huawei refers to EMUI 10.0 with the slogan "Linking the future of the world". Wang Chenglu, president of software engineering of the company, will be in charge of presenting the news of EMUI 10 to the public.
Thanks to hints and leaks that we have been receiving over the weeks, we already know some of the changes that will bring this new version of EMUI to Huawei mobiles.
First of all, we know that some elements of the user interface have been renewed to move further away, if possible, from the essence of Android "stock". As we have seen in some filtered images, the main changes come to basic elements such as the panel of notifications and quick adjustments, which in Android Q will become transparent. You can also see changes in the menu of recent applications.
Some of the system's animations have also been modified to offer a smoother experience. Similarly, the camera app is renewed to adopt a cleaner appearance, while maintaining the large number of options that Huawei usually offers on its devices. Those who have been able to try the new version in advance, also point out that Huawei would have finally introduced a complete gesture navigation system, similar to the one included by Google from the third beta of Android Q.
Of course, EMUI 10 will also arrive with all the new features that Google has been introducing in Android Q throughout the beta program, which will end at some point in August. It will be then, probably, when Huawei mobiles whose update to Android 10 is already confirmed, will begin to receive the new edition of the software with all the changes that will be presented on August 9 during the Huawei Developers Conference 2019.
