The Motorola One Macro comes to accompany the Moto One Vision, Moto One Action and Moto One Power, each with a slightly different approach. In the case of Motorola One Macro the focus is clear: macro photography at a set price.

13MP primary lens + 2MP depth lens + 2MP macro lens
Android 9 pie
Motorola -or Lenovo- has embarked on the mission of creating a Motorola One for almost any possible niche in mobile phones. There is one with a large battery, another with an action camera and another that bets on the perforated camera on the screen. In this case the bet is clear: macro photography.
To achieve this, Moto One Macro has a main camera with three lenses. The main one, and rather more prominent in its design, is 13 megapixels with f/2.0 aperture. It is accompanied by a classic 2 MP lens for depth measurements and an exclusive 2 MP macro lens, f/2.2 aperture and 1.75 um pixels.
The objective of this lens is to achieve close-up photos with a background blur. We will have to prove for ourselves what this lens is capable of, although the company has shared some of the creations on its social networks.
As for the front camera, we have 8 megapixels with f/2.2 aperture. This time the front camera is nestled in the V-shaped notch that crowns the 6.2-inch screen with HD+ resolution.
For the processor, Motorola has opted for MediaTek's Helio P70 (eight cores up to 2.0 GHz), supported by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage that can be expanded using a microSD card up to 512 GB.
As for the battery, we have the not inconsiderable figure of 4,000 mAh of capacity. It is not clear which is the fast charging speed that allows the terminal, although in the box is included the 10W charger.
Probably the biggest puzzle of this Motorola One Macro is whether it is part of Anroid One or not. Although the name suggests it, and other Moto One terminals are effectively Android One, the official photos do not include the Android One logo on the back, so we will have to wait for official confirmation from the company.
Motorola One Macro has been officially introduced in India in a single version, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage and in a single color, spatial blue. It will be officially released on the same day as Redmi 8. This is its price:
Motorola One Macro 4+64 GB, 9,999 Indian rupees, about 128 euros at change.
