The 30W wireless VOOC flash charge adopts real-time communication adjustment, matches the wireless charging board for constant voltage and constant current direct charging, and integrates the VOOC isolated charge pump technology pioneered by OPPO, so that the electricity can be charged into the battery more efficiently and safely.
In terms of safety, 30W wireless VOOC flash charge adds soft switching scheme and DC isolation scheme, DC isolation scheme can effectively block the potential high voltage DC current circuit, so as to avoid the safety risks caused by high voltage current applied to the battery. The 30W wireless VOOC flash charge also adds the foreign body detection function, when the charging plate detects the metal foreign body, can stop charging immediately.
Officials say OPPO's 30W wireless VOOC flash charge is comparable to the VOOC 1.0 flash charging experience, has a very good heat control performance, and the highest temperature during charging will not exceed 40 degrees. The technology is expected to be commercially available in the first half of 2020.
In addition to bringing 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 and 30W wireless VOOC flash charging, VOOC flash charging has also evolved to version 4.0, which has higher charging power than VOOC 3.0.
Officials say the 4000mAh battery can be charged to 67% in 30 minutes and 100% in 73 minutes, 12% less than the previous technology. At the same time, the further optimized VFC algorithm also reduces the charging time required for the last 10% of the power. In addition, VOOC 4.0 reduces the internal resistance of the entire charging system hardware by customizing the 30W high power version adapter and using 3C cells.
VOOC 4.0 has good compatibility and is compatible with all flash charging protocols prior to VOOC 3.0 to obtain full charge power for 5V4A (20W). In addition, VOOC 4.0 will launch the OPPO K5 in October.
