Earlier this week, during the launch of the new OPPO Reno2 in China, the company announced that it will present the new Oppo Reno Ace model with a 90Hz display in October. This confirmation came after rumors had surfaced that OPPO was working on a new device with such a 90 HZ display and fast charge support.
Now, on the Chinese social network Weibo, OPPO Vice President Brian Shen has stated that they will mass produce the world's fastest SuperVOOC 65W rapid charge technology for the OPPO Reno Ace arriving in October. This means that the next model will surpass the speed offered right now by the 50W SuperVOOC fast charge technology present in the OPPO RX17 Pro.
Among the different rapid charge systems that currently exist, the record is set by Meizu with its 55W Super mCharge technology, which can inject energy at 11V and 5A. However, Xiaomi has already shown the benefits of Super Charge Turbo, a 100W fast charge technology capable of charging a mobile phone in 17 minutes, which will almost certainly arrive on board a Redmi terminal.
Vivo has also shown its Super FlashCharge 120W fast charge, which can charge the mobile in just 13 minutes, but which has not yet been implemented in any device. So, unless Xiaomi and Vivo surprise us between now and October, the future OPPO Reno Ace with 65W fast charge, which will be presented next month, will become the mobile with the fastest charge to date.
