That’s really nice to see Realme building an open nature with the custom ROM community. As it leaves a lot of space for developers to create more software possibilities. For example, developers may build custom recoveries and even bring a specific version of Gcam (Google Camera).

In addition, all the Realme XT, Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro run the ColorOS based on Android Pie. While the release of kernel source codes makes it possible for developers to develop the custom Android 10 update as soon as possible.

For those who want to download the kernel source code of the Realme XT, Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro, Realme has uploaded the extracted files to the GitHub website. If you are interested, you can go to there to download it.
