Ever since the first EACHLINK H6 Mini TV Box launched in the market, I was preoccupied with a nagging idea of buying this TV Box. I am usually super excited when buying something new!
So finally, I ordered this H6 Mini TV Box online and got the delivery within a few days. I started using the product right after I received it. Now I am about to share my experience with you.
The proverb, “First impression is the last impression” kind of works for this Mini TV Box. When I unpacked this mini TV, I was pretty much impressed by its appearance, professional design, and its specifications.
I read its specifications that mostly included some attractive features like a 6K output with surround sound feature, a high-level Allwinner H6 quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, and so many other more. Please check out the specification details below, before I proceed.
What’s inside the box?
Features and Components
The EACHLINK H6 Mini TV Box looks like a solid square shaped box made out of a good quality plastic material and has a logo of its brand on the upper surface of the box. The product looks close to a VCR, but it has a rectangular LED screen that displays date and time.
This Mini TV Box is definitely a standard quality product with USB compatibility, HDMI, SPDIF, DC, IR extension, LAN and AV output port. There is also a micro SD card slot, where you can extend its memory up to 64GB. The box isn’t heavy at all: it’s around 100-120 grams and measures 3.78x 3.78x0.75 inches only.
Right at the front of the panel, there is an IR receiver too beside the LED digital display. Out of the two USB ports present there, one port is USB 2.0 and the other port USB 3.0 present at one side of the Box. There is also a reset button and micro SD slot, a 5V DC micro USB, IR PORT, AV port, RJ45 Ethernet port, HDMI 2.0, and a composite S/PDIF port on its sides.
I loved the fact that the makers took care of small things and gave four rubber pads at the bottom of the box. These pads prevent the movement of the TV Box when placed on a flat surface. I also found the hanging loops present at the back of the box, very useful for hanging the TV box. Since the TV Box is powered by a micro USB port so I was able to use my charger and power bank to run the TV Box, which I found very useful.
The EACHLINK TV box supports Bluetooth 4.1 with easy connectivity to the earphone, speaker or any other streaming device. As already mentioned in the ‘Specifications’ section, the TV box is equipped with an Allwinner H6 processor that supports 6K videos. This small package of surprise also supports an HDR10 and HLG HDR integrated Smartcolor 3.0 display system which produces vivid colors that made me speechless.
My first impression about EACHLINK H6 Mini TV Box
The H6 Mini has a very simple UI that helps in getting easy access to the most important functions. I selected the screen resolution of FHD 1920X1080 (1080p 60Hz) but you can also adjust the resolution according to your preference or can go for the auto switch. Everything was working smoothly without any lag.
I faced no issues regarding connecting the device to a WiFi or Ethernet connection or to the router. For the remote control, I used my mouse even though it includes a small sized remote, or you can also use your keyboard or your gamepad.
What I loved about this tiny box was that it can also be controlled through a smartphone. The procedure is very simple, for Android, you can download the Android TV Remote Control App. As an alternative, I have also found CetusPlay very helpful, which can also be installed on the TV box and on a smartphone as well.
The best part to me was H6 Mini supporting Netflix up to 720P and 1080P YouTube videos (only Full HD). The TV box has a pre-installed application that helps to access to many live channels.
On EACHLINK H6 Mini TV Box, I played games right from Google play store via the Android TV Box. The games ran smoothly and I found it pretty satisfying. I also found out that the Mini TV uses the DRM info App like Google Widevine but does not support Microsoft Playready DRM.
Overall, I can rate 4 out of 5 for the EACHLINK H6 Mini TV Box. I consider it absolutely undeniable that the Mini TV box has arrived in the market with a bunch of surprises for you like 6K outputs, higher resolution signal, 5.1 surround sound, etc. You can also find H. 265 decoding that can compress your media files without losing its quality.
The box comes with a small remote but you can also use your smartphone for that. However, people with higher expectations can wait for its next updated version. But if you are looking for some low-range mini TV box with not too much expectation, I would recommend you to go for this one.
Don’t miss this chance where you can get EACHLINK H6 Mini TV Box with unlimited access to media and games just within few bucks!
