CaDa's most popular technic block set - The Porsche 919 hybrid
This was CaDa's first attempt to produce a technic brick set that could keep up with the big danish brand. And well, what should I say? They really met our expectations and provided a really nice block set for a great price. The Porsche 919 hybrid was a racing car, that took part in the WEC between 2014 and 2017 and won Le Mans three times in a row (2015-2017). The most characteristic features of the car are of course the monocoque cockpit as well as the straight fin. And CaDa really successfully implemented these parts in the final set. The quality of the bricks are great as always. CaDa - besides Mould King - is the brand that provides the best technic set with a great brick quality. Often the clamp force of the parts is lousy and the sets fall apart - playing not possible. With CaDa sets you won't experience these problems! Sticker quality is also good, but unfortunately - and that is the fact with most china brand sets - the stickers do not match the original ones. There is also a motorized version of the car. If your Porsche should not only be a presentation on a shelf then try out the RC version. After having problems with the battery boxes in the beginning, the CaDA power functions are now state of the art and work pretty good. The final set consists of 1586 pieces and is 48.5cm long, 21.5cm wide and has a height of 11.5cm. The scale is 1:9.5 and it therefore fits to the smaller white Porsche of Lego. The orange version has a 1:8 scale is is slightly bigger. It's available for slightly over 50€ which is an unbeatable price for a set of this size with more than 1500 parts. Have fun with it!
