VIVO officially released the new Y-series product, namely the VIVO Y50. The latter comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, a 5000mAh battery, and a rear quad-camera.
As said, one of the biggest highlights of the VIVO Y50 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. It also has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and 128GB of storage. It uses a three-card slot design and supports up to 256GB of memory expansion. There is also a Qualcomm Snapdragon X12 baseband, which supports a maximum downlink rate of 400Mbps, and Wi-Fi supporting 802.11ac with MU-MIMO technology.
In terms of battery life, the VIVO Y50 features a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 18W dual-engine flash charging.
The phone also uses a 6.53-inch punch-hole screen, with a 2340 × 1080 FHD + resolution and a 90.7% screen ratio and that is mean the display will give best performance with the great processor.
Well, though these are considered to be the selling points of the VIVO Y50, agree that they are not top-end features. So the real selling point of this handset should be the quad-camera on the back. However, on the front, it carries a 16MP selfie shooter, which can identify 103 basic facial feature points. As for the main camera, it consists of a 13MP lens (F/2.2 large aperture, PDAF), an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens. By the way, the wide-angle lens provides a 120° field of view, while the macro lens provides a minimum focusing distance of 4cm. Finally, the depth-of-field lens assists the camera in blurring the background.
The VIVO Y50 comes in three colors: obsidian black, streamer silver, and glacier blue. The starting price is 1698 yuan ($240). Today, the new machine is fully available online and offline on major platforms.
