Over time, several brands have developed different models of 3D printers with impressive qualities. Among such brands include Two Trees, Tronxy, Creality and Zonestar. These four companies have a reputation for researching, designing, and developing high-tech 3D printers and related products.

To be specific, Two Trees specializes in 3D printer design, development, production, and sales. Also, the brand is well-known for the manufacturing and distribution of 3D printer components and accessories.

Products from Two Trees technology have been found to be efficient and affordable. Also, most of the brand’s device is made for an individual, and family use, as well as for educational and enterprise purposes.

Creality 3D technology is another brand known for designing and trading of high-precision 3D printer. The brand often releases an average of 50,000 unit per month as its products are widely accepted among users. Some of the brand’s products include Creality 3D CR-10 V2, Creality 3D LD-002, among others.

Established in 2015, Tronxy has developed into one of the popular 3D printer developers across the globe. The company specializes in research development and production of 3D printer, accessories, and services. All products from the brand are known to be of international quality standard, and widely appreciated in various global markets.

And lastly, Zonestar is a new technology brand that focuses on designing, researching, producing, and selling of 3D printers and Electronic Information and Automatic Control Technology.

Also, since its inception, the brand has used technology to improve orthopedic surgery equipment. Furthermore, Zonestar specializes in high-quality 3D printing technology services for different industries such as clothing and textile, food, medical, among others.

While these four brands have developed different models of 3D printer, in this piece, we’ll be focusing on four specific models from each brand as follows: Two Trees Sapphire PlusTronxy X5SA ProCreality Ender-5 Pro and Zonestar Z9M3

Starting with Two Trees Sapphire Plus, this model is designed for a DIY task but possess some high-end features that make 3D printing quite easy. It features linear guide rails and core XY structure that supports high-precision, stable and quick printing. Also, this model features TMC2208 that operates with little sound. Thus, users can work with the machine without having to deal with noise.

Another model is the Tronxy X5SA, which is designed as a 3D printer kit. This product offers versatility as it can produce structures using ABS, Nylon and PET-G. Also, users can expect a very stable printing process as it is designed with an aluminum frame.

Also, we have the Creality Ender-5 Pro, which is easy to assemble and designed for DIY tasks. It boasts a cubic frame and compatible with various filaments as it features a 260°C nozzle temperature. Also, this device is designed to produce high-quality objects as it is made of a 100-micron print resolution.

Compared to several models out there, Creality Ender-5 Pro features a Y-axis motor that directs the two sides of the gantry simultaneously to develop a highly smooth movement. Also, vibration from this product is reduced as it works with a double Y-axis control system.

The fourth 3D Printer model is the Z9M3 from Zonestar; this device is convenient and easy to assemble. Also, it allows printing from a MicroSD. Zonestar Z9M3 is designed with a V-shaped aluminum profile for roller’s movement. Additionally, the LCD screen made with the device can be placed on the left or right to make things easy, depending on the user’s hand orientation.

From the brief description of the four products above, it is evident that each product possesses specific attributes that make them unique. However, for more clarity, we have provided a detailed specs comparison of the four models in a table, as shown below.

TWO TREES Sapphire Plus vs Tronxy X5SA Pro vs Creality Ender-5 Pro vs ZONESTAR Z9M3: Differences and similarities

· Design

The four models (i.e., Two Tree sapphire plus, Tronxy X5SA ProCreality Ender-5 Pro and Zonestar Z9M3) are designed with an interactive and responsive screen display that features different settings for the printing process. Except for the Two trees Sapphire Plus made of sheet material, the other models are created from aluminum extrusion material.

Also, they feature durable rails that ensure that the printer is stable during the printing process. However, unlike the other three 3D printers, the sapphire Plus comes with linear guide rails and core XY structure that supports better printing accuracy and quicker printing process. In terms of weight, the four models are relatively light-weighted; however, Tronxy X5SA Pro is the heaviest as it weighs 14.5kg.

· Functions

The Sapphire Plus 3D Printer offers resume printing function and out-of-material detection property. With the out-of-material detection, the machine will monitor the filament supply and what’s left for production. As for the resume printing function, it enables the device to resume production from the last recorded extruder position.

The Tronxy X5SA 3D printer offers automatic leveling function, X-axis and Y-axis belt adjustable function, continuous function, and insufficient detection function. The Creality Ender-5 Pro is capable of double performance, which is helped by its spatial frame that provides better stability.

And lastly, the Zonestar Z9M3 is designed with three extruders, which allow for an auto-mixing of colors. Also, this model features an auto-leveling position sensor that supports smooth printing.

· Printing performance

First off, it is worth saying that the four models are capable of high printing accuracy and smooth product delivery. Also, the four models feature a full metal body that supports a high-quality printing process. Furthermore, the four brands can work with many materials such as ABS, Flexible PLA, HIPS, PETG, PLA, etc

Likewise, they support different software such as Cura, Repetier-Host, among others. However, when it comes to the printing speed, the Sapphire Plus 3D printer offers print at a higher rate compared to the other three products. Also, among the four models, Sapphire Plus 3D uses a TMC2208 drive chip that provides a silent printing experience.

However, the other three models possess unique properties that support their performances. For instance, there is a Z-axis dual motor double screw and X-axis and Y-axis belt adjustable in the Tronxy X5SA that assist the printing process, while the feature V-slot profiles bearing high-precision wheel that support more stable and smooth printing performance are found with the Zonestar Z9M3

And as for the Creality Ender-5 Pro, it is designed with a dual Y-axis control system and a v-slot profile that allows for synchronous operation and stable printing. Additionally, it has an ultra-mute motherboard that increases precision and generates lesser noise.

· Price

Among the four products (i.e., Two Trees Sapphire Plus, Tronxy X5SA, Creality Ender-5 Pro and Zonestar Z9M3), the Zonestar Z9M3 is the most expensive as it bears a price tag of $619.10. As for the other models, the Sapphire Plus, Tronxy X5SA and Creality Ender-5 Pro are available at $449.99, 409.99 and $379.00, respectively.

Conclusion

From the analysis above, the four models are clearly handy, versatile and durable 3D printer to possess, most especially if you intend to use for DIY tasks. They are capable of delivering high-quality products within a short period.

However, despite the similarities, the various functionalities, printing speed and compatibility with different software make the Two Trees Sapphire Plus stand out among the rest.

Also, the device is capable of online printing and offline printing using an SD card, not to mention the capacity to print using various materials. Hence, we recommend getting the Sapphire Plus 3D printer.
