I want to share this deburring tool with you today -
Drill-chuck Actuated Conical Rotary-chamfer And Deburring Tool.
The tool tapers the end circumference of almost any solid round-rod material in seconds.
I work in construction and manufacturing. I regularly encounter bolts that will not accept a threaded nut or even a flat washer.
It is because the bolt shaft end being distorted by the impact on its end, or because it has been poorly cut.
This tool fixes these issues very quickly by edge-shaving the material to a slight taper and clearing the way for a clean thread match. It surely beats grinding the top clean or re-cutting the bolt.
I've used this tool on dozens of foundation bolts, and it shows very little wear from the abuse I have offered it.
Due to its resistance to wear I have to assume it is machined from tool steel. Good stuff.
I've also used this chamfering tool successfully on plastics and hardwood.
I strongly suggest purchasing this item if you work with a threaded rod of any sort.
It has saved me time and saved the cost of replacing threaded hardware.
I had posted the using video on YouTube as below:
