Recently, BenGeskin disclosed the iPhone 2020 prototype with a 6.7-inch display. It’s said that the new smartphone to be released in November next year will be notchless. It will come with the TrueDepth sensor for Face ID mounted on the ultra-narrow bezel on the top of the screen.
As we can see from the concept design, the new iPhone will look much different from the previous generations. Although the position of the speaker, microphone and front camera will remain unchanged, their sizes will be smaller to be placed into the top bezel.
In this way, the entire screen of the smartphone will be close to a full screen. Additionally, the TrueDepth sensor to realize Face ID will still consist of an infrared camera, a dot projector, a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, etc.
According to the information, the prototype of iPhone 2020 is close to the prediction of the famous analyst, Mr. Guo. According to Mr. Guo, Apple will still launch three new iPhones; however, they might differ in screen size, appearance, and the support for the 5G network.
Among them, the high-end variants will be 6.7-inch and 5.4-inch, whereas, the low-end option will be 6.1-inch.
Mr. Guo has made new predictions about the iPhone 2020 recently. He indicates that the new iPhone would not only support 5G but also look like iPhone 4. Moreover, the design of the middle frame will also be changed.
