As already planned, Xiaomi's Redmi sub-brand has officially unveiled the Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom phones after weeks of teasers. These two phones come in a completely different design from the user in the current Redmi K30, they include a pop-up front camera and four cameras in a circular unit in the backend. As expected, these two phones also come with the latest Snapdragon 865 processor from Qualcomm, and with the Qualcomm X55 modem, as well as a larger battery with a capacity of 4700mAh.
In fact, the Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom phones have the same design and specifications, and the only difference between them is the cameras on the back. Common specifications between the two phones include a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD + accuracy, an Snapdragon 865 eight-core processor, a 20-megapixel front camera, as well as 6GB or 8GB random memory, 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 type of internal memory.
On the back, the Redmi K30 Pro has a 64-megapixel primary camera that supports OIS image stabilization technology, a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth information sensor as well. As for the people who will choose the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom phone, they will get the same cameras except that the macro camera will be replaced by an 8-megapixel close-up camera, knowing that the latter will provide an optical approx of 3 x and a hybrid approx of 30 x. It is worth noting that both phones support 8K recording.
As we have already mentioned, the Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom phones come with a 4700mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, and they also come pre-installed with Android 10 and with MIUI 11 of Xiaomi.
Phone Redmi K30 Pro will be available in gray, purple, white and blue. The basic version 6GB / 128GB will cost 425 USD, while the 8GB / 128GB version will cost about 480 USD, and the 8GB / 256GB version will be about 520 USD. As for the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom phone, it will cost $ 535 for the 6GB / 128GB version, or the equivalent of $ 565 for the 8GB / 256GB version.
Generally, both phones are now available for pre-order in China so orders to begin shipping to customers will start on April 4. Unfortunately, at the moment there is no information about when these two phones will be launched globally.
