- A nice elegant display item to put on a shelf. It works in the sense that it makes pretty crystal patterns when the temperature changes. I wouldn't trust its weather predicting abilities though! It arrived safely packaged in Styrofoam but you might still want to consider shipping insurance as it is a delicate item. The packaging includes English and Chinese language instructions and a wooden base. The base is approximately 11 cm x 11 cm x 2 cm and the glass is 20 cm x 9.4 cm

- Unfortunately my storm glass arrived with a bit of brown grime left over from manufacturing on the inside which would not go away, so I had to take a few points off for build quality and its overall rating.

- This object which I got with a very special price is worth all the full cost. It is elegant, it is beautiful, it has such a perfect shape, it is wonderful to look at or hold in your hands, it is magic.
- Suggestion:
- I had other storm glasses and some work, some do not. Each may have a different sensibility, each may have different secret liquids inside. In this case, even though the weather is warm, there are still flakes at the bottom.But I don't care. It takes a full year and four seasons to observe all variations.
