This is a great little fan and I've bought two of them for my small second floor bedrooms, the fan itself puts out a good amount of air, and the light seems adequate for a bedroom, many fans have the ball style mount these days so it's not anything that out of the ordinary, when you have the fan on high the sound of air moving is much louder than the hum in my opinion, for the price this fan is definitely a fantastic value, if you go to the big box stores you'll pay twice as much for the same or worse quality, it's also difficult to find these more modern designs for a reasonable price in stores

I do a lot of webinars from my office and my overhead lighting always put a lot of glare on my forehead, this light filter easily installed over the drop ceiling light fixture but it only reduced the glare picked up by my webcam rather than eliminating it, I went ahead and kept it on the light fixture because I liked the overall effect on the lighting in my office even though it was not enough for solving my webcam lighting needs

Wonderful -- nice fan with a light fixture that actually provides light, has seen fit to take away larger bulbs from ceiling fans, because apparently we are too impaired to select LED bulbs on our own, most ceiling fans have these pathetic low wattage ` candle' bulbs that accomplish approximately what a candle would, this fixture uses three full size bulbs and provides great light -- buy it before they're all gone

The LED light is bright without being blinding, and the installation was pretty quick and easy, moving too much air to really sleep comfortably at night, and the fast speed is ridiculous, we're making due with the low speed by running our A/C for an hour or so before bed and then turning that off and the fan on low, the medium speed is fine for keeping the room comfortable

The built-in light provides just the right amount of light for the room, the remote control for both the fan and the light is a fantastic convenience and it comes with a bracket that you can mount anywhere you want, I couldn't find a better price any where else, amazing how a new ceiling fan can significantly change the looks of a room

Screws into standard ceiling light box, great for areas you don't have the ceiling depth for recessed lights, works well on a dimmer, because it's so thin it is more directional than bulbs that hang down, the light is more pointed towards the floor and does not spread around the room as well as other fixtures might

It doesn't come with a bulb but probably because you can choose your own lighting plan, or just normal bulbs, if you want more light you can get a brighter LED and still have a cool light without stressing the socket, great light for the price but cheaper at IKEA if you have a store in your area

I find that the wattage of the bulbs is fine for our living room, we supplement the overhead light with reading lights around the room, the remote control is finicky and takes some getting used to, biggest complaint is that the fan is actually a little weak, you can't feel much air movement

Well-made fan for the bedroom, I wanted a fan without a remote, but it seems every higher end ceiling fan comes with a remote, this allows me to control the light with a wall switch instead of the remote, my light on/off and fan on/off are controlled with the wall switch

It's completely silent and only looks a bit shaky on the highest setting this shakiness is something I feel like I see on every ceiling fan, light isn't super bright, I know it's a bit larger than is recommended for a room of my size
