The batteries go dead, it requires another flashlight to see what your doing and sometimes the buddy system and ten minutes in worst case situations, the Green LED version is better on your `` night vision'' and better than any RED LED I have ever used and feel the CLEAR LED is not necessary, HINT : I found a hat clip from a lesser flashlight and put it to my KeyMate and used a better and shorter lobster clasp so I can move it back and forth from my Stetson Cowboy Hat and to the key ring to make it more reliable and keep the chain from hanging in my face

I took the small chain off and just left the hoop and ran it through my key ring that way it's a tighter package with my keys, I haven't had very long but I've used it quite a bit and no complaints and still haven't had to change batteries, I saw the nano in person and for me I prefer the Keymate sure it's bigger but not huge again about the size of a large key not a huge car key either just a normal house key

A great back-up flashlight whenever you drop something within your car and dome lights don't help, you can keep it in your pocket without the light coming on by accident it twists to turn on quietly, single LED doesn't use much juice, so battery power lasts a while before needing new batteries

This is a good quality inexpensive flashlight but there are issues with it, also it screws itself apart in your pocket and you end up with loose batteries and parts of flashlight in your pocket, the key chain clip on mine lasted about two months before it disintegrated

They don't mention a nice feature on the rotating off-on head switch, to turn the light on you screw it clockwise to tighten and there is a slight resistance, this is my latest purchase of Streamlight lights and have never had any issues with any of them

This is a great little keychain light, on my unit the twist takes just the right amount of effort, there are bigger lights that shine brighter, and there are smaller lights, it's got enough power to be useful, enough battery life to be there when I need it

This is great if you need more light output than what a micro can give you, but it won't realistically light your way, though of course not as well as a bigger light, but for occasional use, if you can accept the greater bulk compared to a micro flashlight

I bought this little light mainly as a battery consuming device, figured this little guy would help me to burn through all those batteries before they go bad, it doesn't eat the batteries all that fast & light output is really good for the size & price

My keys have hit concrete multiple times but the flashlight has held up great, yet it is stiff enough that it won't accidentally turn on in your pocket, this bright light in a small package has come in handy on multiple occasions

Best little pocket light I've tried, as for the light and pattern though it's awesome for the size of this thing, it's small enough to put on a keychain and have in your pocket, but as bright as a full size flashlight when you turn it on
