The bulbs work nicely. roughly similar to a 60W bulb or 11W CFL, maybe a bit brighter (I don't have a way to measure this). I like the fact that they stay cool. I would buy more (to replace all the bulbs in my parents' house) if I could be sure they would all arrive undamaged.
