They are actually pretty bright for LED lights, we aim them at the floor with the louvered side facing up and have one in the bathroom and one in the hall, but my husband said he thought it was too bright at night his side of the bed faces into the hall so we took it out, I am very happy with them and much better at maintaining the light than the soft glow models, can't beat the price per unit and the amount of light for the low amount of energy used

The neck length is a bit short for where I have the lamp clamped on a shelf above my work surface and the magnifying glass is a bit small, but adequate and excellent for the price, the clamp is nice and strong, and the LED lights are fantastic and really light up my work surface adequately

These LED type night lights are great, they go off when it gets light enough or the regular lights are switched on assuming the photocell sensor can `` see'' the ambient light change, good buy on a good product

We like the on-off switch and prefer it to another night light we have with a light sensing switch that goes on sometimes during a darkish day and is just a waste of electricity, a nice night light
