The main reason I choose this was because a it was in my budget and b comes with a low profile bracket, i intend on getting a few more of these once I have my servers built for redundant Ethernet connection

Performance has been adequate across my home network, i Have used TP-Link network card prior with positive results, installs without a hitch and has provides good performance to date

It simply wasn't worth reinvesting in another motherboard at the time just for the LAN port so we picked up this, worked just fine until we decided to upgrade the motherboard

The newer generation of network card are way much better than the ten year old version we all seem to be using, i am using them for a PFSense setup works great
