It is exciting to build the mini projector from the flat cardboard pieces. You need a strong glue that binds quickly and soldering is best for the metal battery contacts.The instructions are only in Chinese, a bit of which I can understand, but I can imagine problems if someone doesn't. The photos are not too helpful.The working end product is far from being an efficient slide projector. Sharp image, but mall picture in fairly dim light. But for an educational toy and for fun, fair enough.

Homemade slide projector courseware
A slide projector is an optical instrument that magnifies a picture and images it on a screen. It is an important audio-visual equipment widely used in electrification teaching.
The slide projector is mainly composed of a light source, a condenser mirror, a projection lens and the like. When a transparent picture is displayed, the light from the light source is concentrated by the condensation mirror, and the picture is evenly illuminated, and the picture is enlarged on the screen by the projection lens to cause an enlarged inverted real image.
